FortiClient VPN for Android

This article will show you how to install the FortiClient VPN on Android devices. 

The first step is to install the Forticlient VPN via the Play Store.

You will need to click the 'ok' button to begin the install.

You will need to add a VPN profile.

VPN Name: SCU VPN

VPN Type: SSL VPN

Click 'Create'

On the next window add the following information:

Server: https://vpn.scu.edu.au

Port: 8443

Username: This is your SCU short name.

To start the VPN, Leave the configuration page by selecting the VPN Tunnel 'SCU VPN' on the left side of the screen

Select 'Connect' to start the VPN.

You may need to click 'OK' to accept the connection request.

You will then be asked to login. Login using your short username and SCU password

A token (verification code) will be sent to your nominated mobile phone number.  Enter this unique token number and click 'OK'

When successfully connected, the current session stats will appear, and the connection button will

turn red and become a 'Disconnect' button. To disconnect the VPN, select the 'Disconnect' button.
