How to install the FortiClient VPN on MacOS

Attention: Currently the supported Operating Systems for FortiClient include: Mac OSX v10.12 Sierra or higher

This article will show you how to install and use the FortiGate VPN on MacOS. 

Step 1. Click here to download the VPN launcher

Step 2. Navigate to the downloads folder and run the installer by double-clicking it

Step 3. Run the installer by double-clicking the 'Install' icon

Step 4. To continue this installation click 'Next', and click 'Agree' to the terms of the software license agreement. Then Click 'install'.

The following screen will ask you for your MacOS password.

Note: This is not your SCU Password, it is the MacOS local password.VPN_MacOS_6.png

You should see this installation was successful after the installation has completed.

    I don't have a Downloads folder in my Favourites so can't get past - or to - Step 1. Any clues?
