If you are experiencing issues with Blackboard Collaborate you can access Blackboard's support service (including live chat) 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a week. In addition to the normal support available from the SCU Service Desk.
To access the service, please go to http://blackboard.force.com/btbb_publichome?dfprod=collaborate. In the section labeled Support in the lower left, type your question or your issue into the text box just to the right of the words Create a Case: then click Submit.
Relevant articles from the Blackboard knowledge base will then be presented. To view one or more of those articles, click the title and scroll down to read the article.
If the article answered your question, you’re done!
If the articles didn't provide you with the answer you require, there are other ways in which you can get support. The first and the one we encourage you to use is the live chat, so you can get immediate support for your issue. To to this please click the Chat with Agent button, as seen below.
Then you will be provided with some fields to fill out, this will help the support agent to solve your question or issue easily. Please fill these out to the best of your knowledge. Once finished click Request Chat and the next available support agent will assist you.
The second method of getting support is to create a case, to do so please click Create a Case button (just below the relevant articles).
Fill in the necessary fields on the case submission page and click the “Create New Case” button. At this point, your case has been created and routed to your Collaborate Support Team.
If you wish to add comments or attachments to your case, click the “Add Attachments” button. After you leave this page, all future interaction on your case will be through email.
