If you wish to connect your SCU email account to the email client on your personal computer (for instance Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, etc.), you can find the server settings for by doing the following:
- login to your SCU emails
- click on the settings cog up the top right of the screen, then select Options.
- under the Account tab on the left hand menu, select My Account at the top, then click on Settings for POP or IMAP access...
This will provide you with the server details you'll need to add your account.
The Service Desk provides support to students using the Outlook Web App and to Staff members using the Outlook Web App or Microsoft Outlook on SCU asset machines.
All other email clients are not supported, and we strongly advise that the Web App is the most reliable way to access your SCU emails.
